Are you a black man aged 50 or over? Do you want to learn more about your health and wellbeing? Do you want to connect with other black men who share your experiences and challenges?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are invited to join us for a free health seminar organised by the Over 50s Black Men Forum (O5BM), a non-profit community of black men who are taking a leading role in helping themselves and supporting each other.
The health seminar will be delivered by black medical professionals who are experts in their fields and who understand the specific needs and concerns of black men. It will cover topics such as:
- Mental health Inequalities:
o Managing depression
o Managing Anxiety
o Dementia Diagnostics
o Mental Health and the Law - General & Physical Health Inequalities
o CPR Workshop
The health seminar will also provide an opportunity for you to network with other black men, share your stories, ask questions and enjoy good food.
