On June 13th, 2023, the indoor hall of the Royal British Legion Club at Chelwater, Great Baddow in Chelmsford, Essex, was transformed into a hive of activity, hosting the pilot launch of the Over 50s Black Men Forum Table Tennis League.
We Thank #Active Essex for providing us funding for sporting equipment and venue hire.
The is a great example of the many ways that the O5BM Forum is collaborating with social organisation to reduce health inequalities in the black community. We are enabling the older black community to stay physically active, reduce isolation, improve mental alertness, and stay socially connected.
If you are fall into the O5BM demography and live in Chelmsford or immediate environ, Join our Chelmsford Table tennis League. We meet every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm at The Royal British Legion, Chelwater, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 7RA.
Participation is FREE. There is nothing to pay. Just turn up and play.
